Year 3 trip to Mop End 9th July 2015
On Thursday Year 3 went on an outdoor activities day to Mop End near Amersham. We enjoyed being creative and practical making our woodland shelters. We did our best to make them waterproof although when the ‘rain’ came, a few children did get a little wet!
We also enjoyed a number of team building tasks which tested our problem solving skills as well as our ability to work well together. Our map reading skills were put to the test to navigate around the site. Some fared better than others, luckily Callum J was there to help rescue Mrs Bravington otherwise her group may still be lost in the woods!
All in all it was a fantastic day with a great introduction for Year 3 to the type of activities they will encounter on residential trips later in the school.
