On Thursday, Year 5 had a fantastic time finding things out about the houses at Widmer Pond. We had to find where we were on an empty map (some of us had a map with all the details on) and had to find the ages of the buildings, as well as some interesting facts. The oldest building was the middle part of the Old Bell House. Some buildings had Dutch gables.
We had a little snack and then went to a building, and drew it. We walked down to a green, then sat down and had lunch; some of us had to go to the toilet in the bushes! Then we walked through some woods and got back to school, we then had a little break, and then carried on with our building drawings.
