Sainsburys School Games Award GOLD!!!!!

EmojiEmojiEmojiEmojiWE GOT GOLD!!!!!!EmojiEmojiEmojiEmoji
The Sainsbury’s school games GOLD award recognises our commitment to school sport. To achieve gold, we have to compete in both inter school and in school competitions across at least 9 different sports. For example: cheerleading, football, golf and netball. As a school we also promote and develop leadership skills by training our playleaders and sports champions.

“This gold award is a fantastic achievement and shows how MFCJS is committed to providing and competing in a wide range of sports. It reflects the hard work and dedication of the teachers and the commitment and team spirit of all the pupils. Well done Manor Farm, fantastic news – you should be very proud.” Mrs Lewis (Governor)

About the Author
  1. Mr Cook

Well done to Mrs Pilgrim who put in a lot of effort to help the school achieve this award.

  2. Luke Prosser

Yeah and well done to all the runners but we couldn’t do this without Mrs Pilgrim and Mrs Hillier.

  3. Mr Sierant

Well done Mrs Pilgrim and Mr Mills, from Premier Sports, who have put in the time and work for us to gain gold! Well done to all our pupils who participate in the sports we offer and represent the school with pride. It’s wonderful to have recognition for our sporting achievement as it demonstrates that Manor Farm recognises that there is more to the school than purely academic achievement.

  4. Luke Prosser

I agree Mr Sierant i agree.:)

  5. Tim Mills

I’d like to say a big thank to all the children in the last three years we have raised the profile of sport and will continue to do so this year.

  6. Jane Mediratta

    Well done, brilliant achievement!

  7. Mrs Pilgrim

I’d just like to add my thanks to everyone in our school community who has made this award possible. Most importantly, thanks to all the children who have taken up the opportunities to try out new sports, compete against other schools and encourage others to NED in sport. I’m equally proud of your sporting attitude, congratulating and supporting others when competing against them, knowing how to enjoy winning with style, yet equally knowing how to lose graciously! This is all part of showing what resilient learners you are.
Thanks also to all the adults, staff and parents who have given their time to support and encourage the children’s endeavours. Particular thanks to Mr Mills and Miss Grigg(from Sir William Ramsay School) who have helped develop many new initiatives such as Project Playground, Playground Leaders and how to assess, evaluate and improve performance.
I look forward to another year of sport achievements, go for it Manor Farm!
