Year 6 were incredibly lucky on Monday, as they were treated to a trip at Hazard Alley.
Hazard Alley is a safety centre in Milton Keynes. The children had a great day, exploring and learning about how to keep safe in different scenarios. They also had the great experience of putting someone in the recovery position and dialling 999 for an emergency. Fortunately for us, we got to watch them on a TV and hear their phone call! The Year 6s really enjoyed learning about how to keep safe on the roads, learning about the different types of crossings and also the importance of keeping safe near railway lines.
In time for Internet Safer Day, the children had a session in the classroom learning about cyberbullying and the importance of telling someone if they experience it themselves, or see it being done to someone else. They created some superb raps to display just how much they had learnt!
As always, Year 6s behaviour was super and we had a great day.
