On Thursday 17th March Year 4 paid a visit to the Ashmolean museum and Quaker Meeting house lunch room. It was a lovely sunny day and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We visited several galleries in the museum and had a fantastic interactive Anglo Saxon session , where we studied artefacts and imagined we were archaeologists, by placing the artefacts onto the skeleton of an Anglo- Saxon women. Not a real one of course! We had a really enjoyable experience and everybody agreed they would love to visit again.
