Manor Farm vs Great Kingshill

The team line-up of the match was Jamie Donovan, Josh Murphy, Max Paul, Kian Ramachandran, Josh McCann, Kieran Longmore, Ben Crate, Charlie Woodroffe, Josh Boyle and Harry Bowler.

Manor Farm were going in search of their first victory out of their games played so far. Josh McCann captained them with Kian Ramachandran as his vice- captain.

At the start of the game, Manor Farm were passing quite nicely until Great Kingshill intercepted the ball and passed around Harry and Kieran who were at the back. Then despite Jamie’s effort we couldn’t stop the goal so Kingshill went 1- 0 up. After that, Harry managed to Scissor kick the ball straight up to Ben Crate whose shot was saved by their keeper but Kingshill unfortunately managed to break up Manor Farm’s defence to make the score 2-0 Kingshill heading into half time.

In the second half, Kian Ramachandran, Charlie Woodroffe and Max Paul were substituted for Josh Murphy, Josh Boyle and Kieran Longmore. As the second half started, Manor Farm began by pressing hard and having shots but none of which could beat the goalkeeper. Manor Farm’s spirit is what kept them going but they didn’t score. Unluckily Great Kingshill won 2-0 against Manor Farm.

Despite losing Manor Farm showed great sportsmanship and gratitude. Harry Bowler received man of the match because of his brilliant sportsmanship and gameplay and had put 100% effort into it.
