We are very excited to announce that Manor Farm is involved in a national project for The Royal Horticultural Society.
Some Rocket seeds were part of the cargo that went with Tim Peake to space. These seeds were brought back down to Earth in March of this year. The RHS is running a science investigation to see if atmospheric changes have any impact on seeds growing.
The children in Science club have planted the two packets of seeds we have been sent. (We do not know which seeds have come from space and which seeds have come from the local garden centre!)
Over the next few weeks we will be tracking their progress and informing the RHS of our findings.
We will keep you updated on their progress!
These are some pictures to show you how the children have set their investigation up.
