On Thursday morning when we arrived we started by playing parachute games, archery and other races organised by Mr Mills and Mr Green. This was followed by lunch which was a selection of cheese, ham and tuna sandwiches.
After lunch we had a bit of free time where we unpacked and made our beds (some better than others) followed by a tour of the Green Park site. Mrs Bray taught us some songs ( Ask us about the yellow bird song!) before we went to the park. We really enjoyed the park and especially climbing and spinning on the witch’s hat.
When we arrived back from the park, we were greeted by Mr Cook. We then had dinner which was Spaghetti Bolognaise or Cheesey Pasta bake followed by apple crumble.
Mrs Pilgrim then led a very enjoyable quiz night where we had to do things like mummify eachother, eat cracker biscuits and search for Jelly Babies in flour using just our mouths.
Finally, when we were all exhausted, we went to bed. Everyone was asleep by 11pm and the adults were very relieved that they were not disturbed until 7am!
On Friday we started the morning off with a bacon roll, toast and cereal. This was followed by swimming and footgolf. Well done to Louis Robins who scored 37. We had sandwiches for lunch again and then had some free time in the park. Josh Light won the ‘chin up’ competition with 6 chin ups!
Finally, all exhausted but happy, we packed are bags on the coach and headed back to school.
A great time was had by all. A big thank you to Mrs Pilgrim, Mrs Bray, Mrs Hollis, Mrs Boddington, Mr Cook, Mr Mills, Mr Green and Mr Guthroe.

See you later.
