Update: We can happily announce that we have successfully taken part in creating a new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest reading lesson with over 4,000 participants taking part!
Today Manor farm attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest reading lesson! All pupils were read to on the playground from 9am to 9:30am. Approximately 75 schools took part in this record attempt, with the average school having more than 100 participants – we are expected to smash the record currently set at 3,509! Manor Farm will receive 100 free books for taking part in this event. Two independent adjudicators witnessed the event and all members of staff took part either marshalling or reading. It was a great morning and we were incredibly lucky that the sun shone!
