This morning, 5A ended our very busy half term by visiting St Margaret’s church in Tyler’s Green, as part of our RE focus on Sacred Places. We saw many of the different features of a church, and learnt about its history and how it has changed since it was built 150 years ago. Rev Mike Bisset helped us to create interesting melodies on the organ, while the village of Tyler’s Green got to enjoy our very professional sounding bell ringing. After looking through the graveyard and looking closely at the amazing stained glass windows, we sketched our favourite parts of the church. It was a fascinating end to our half term, and we look forward to a rest before approaching another action packed half term.
