Mrs Jones Set – This week your homework is ‘finding solutions to problems’. Read the instructions carefully on the sheet provided and write your answers on the sheet. Stick your work neatly into your Maths homework book.
Make sure you are also learning your times tables every day. We will be doing Cracking Times Tables on Monday! It is vital that you keep practising and improving on your scores –
This week, your homework is focused on conjunctions. Please read the instructions on the sheet and think carefully about which conjunctions would make most sense in each sentence. Use an underlined date and title in your English homework book.
As usual, we expect you to record at least 4 pieces of reading in your Home School Book. We will be collecting Home School Books in on Monday! Please make sure you get an adult to sign your book.. Remember you could be reader of the week!
Have a lovely weekend! J

Due in on TUESDAY 17th July
Note to parents – This homework is being given out a day early due to residential. Those going to homework club, will be unable to do this in homework club due to adult supervision so it is important this homework is carried out at home over the weekend/Monday evening.
D&T – Biscuits
As we have run out of time this term to make our biscuits, we would like YOU to make them at home, ready to take part in our tasting afternoon! You need to make a minimum of 6 beautiful biscuits to bring into school on TUESDAY 17th JULY in a named container.
Your biscuits can be ANYTHING you would like them to be. You can choose the shape, flavours and ingredients but please do not include nuts due to allergies. You are then free to decorate them however you like. You may want to choose a particular theme!
As a class, we will be judging the biscuits based on many different things (and there may be opportunities for us all to taste different biscuits) but your teacher will be your overall judge! Please be ready to talk about your biscuits and explain why you have made and decorated them in this way.
We are hoping you will enjoy this homework, as it is a little more exciting and involves more fun! It also involves some Maths skills with weighing out ingredients. We hope this is something you will enjoy making with your parents too.
As usual, we expect you to record at least 4 pieces of reading in your Home School Book. We will be collecting Home School Books in on Monday.
Have a great weekend resting after residential and baking!
