Title: Can I complete SPAG challenges?
This week we would like you to complete the challenges that have been given to you. You may work on the sheet, but please stick it into your book.
We will be looking for an underlined date and title, and that the presentation of your work is beautiful and neat.
Times Tables and Reading
Make sure you are also learning your times tables every day. We do Cracking Times Tables every Monday.
Remember we expect you to record at least 4 pieces of reading in your Home School Book. We will collect home school books in every Monday. Please make sure you get an adult to sign your book.

Using place value compare decimals and insert a greater than or less than symbol between the numbers.They have a worksheet in stuck in their books. On this occasion they may write the answers on the sheet. Some of them will need to convert units of measure to be able to answer the question
There are no spellings this week.
As usual, we expect you to record at least 4 pieces of reading in your Home School Book. We will be collecting Home School Books in on Monday.

Can I solve problems involving percentages?
In the last few weeks we have been looking at finding percentages of different amounts. For homework, you have been given some questions to answer which you need to complete on the sheet. Please make sure you work neatly and be careful, change the percentage into a fraction first, and this will help you calculate the amount.

LC: Can I solve measures problems?
In the last few weeks we have been reading scales, converting units of measure and solving problems with length, mass and capacity. For homework, you have been given some questions to answer which you need to complete on the sheet and then stick in your maths homework book. Please make sure you work neatly and be careful.
At the beginning of this week we practised multiplying using either grid multiplication or long multiplication. Your maths teacher has given you a sheet to complete in your maths homework book. Please refer to this sheet and follow the instructions carefully.
This week you have been given statutory list 5. Please learn these spellings thoroughly as you will be tested on Friday.
Please remember to record 4 pieces of reading for the week, making sure you include comments in your Home School Book. We will be looking especially carefully at these next week and checking that your parents have signed them.
