Title – Can I complete a word search?

Please complete the word search you have been given and stick it neatly into your books.

 

Times Tables

Make sure you are also learning your times tables every day. We will be doing Cracking Times Tables on Monday! Please keep practising and improving on your scores.

 

Reading

As usual, we expect you to record at least 4 pieces of reading in your Home School Book. We will be collecting Home School Books in on Monday.Please make sure you get an adult to sign your book. Remember you could be reader of the week!

English

Roman Day explanation writing

We all had a fantastic time on Roman Day. There were some super costumes and you all participated in the activities with great enthusiasm.  

For homework this week, we would like you to write instructions to explain how to play a Roman game or make a mosaic tile or a Roman lamp.Your explanation should be  written in chronological order.

Remember to include time conjunctions eg first, then, after that, finally. You may include labelled diagrams.

 

Reading

As usual, we expect you to record at least 4 pieces of reading in your Home School Book. We will be collecting Home/School Books in on Monday.

 

Spellings

You have spellings to learn for next Tuesday.

Maths –

Please complete the given sheet on; ensure this is stuck into your Maths book carefully so we can still see both sides!

Write the answer to the ‘activity’ in your book, not on the sheet.  

Spellings to be tested

Please ensure you have learnt your next statutory word list.  These will be handed out on Friday and tested next week.

Times Tables – Continue to practise your timetables ready for Cracking Times Tables

Reading – Remember to read at least 4 times a week and make a comment on your books.
