Y6 Residential Day Five

The final morning arrived with some very tired children.  Mixed feelings were felt throughout, everyone keen to go home, catch up on sleep and see family, but sad to finish the activities and say goodbye to the activities and instructors.

Lots of the children were preparing for a cold morning on the lake, building rafts in the rain.  The other groups were having an equally wet ride on the zip wire and trying to stack crates.
After lunch we boarded the coach and headed back to school.  The children had such an incredible week and overcame so many fears about activities and being away from home.  Certainly a week that will never be forgotten.

I had a great time. My favourite activities were caving along with high ropes. Thanks to all the staff and instructors who helped us have the time of our lives. Great, now homework…
