Speech Competition

On Friday 8th February, we went to Disraeli School to compete in a local speech competition. Having all got down to the final 9, we were super excited. We listened to all the incredible speeches before performing our own. We also met local author Lawrence Prestidge and listened to him read an extract from his new book. The awards were given out and we were delighted to find out that Chase had won 1st place with her speech: Body Image in the Media. Lilia came runner-up with her speech: Rhinoceros Poaching. Robyn also did very well with her speech: Getting Ready For Life. It was an incredible night and we will always remember it.
