Y6 Residential Day One

After a bright and early start to the morning, we had a long but clear journey down to Devon. The children were greeted with lunch before heading out on their first activity – ranging from low ropes and team building challenges, to throwing themselves, quite literally, into the lake. The children then found their rooms and settled before heading to the dining room for dinner. After dinner, we headed out on a 5km walk to Hembury Fort… this was quite a climb, especially after a large ice-cream sundae! We reached the top just in time for the sunset – as you can imagine the children were very tired by the end and are now getting ready for some much awaited sleep.
