Y6 Residential Day Four

Our final full day and another very lucky weather forecast! The sun came out at points and kept us relatively warm for the many wet activities that took place.

All groups rotated between caving, rock climbing, a long walk and kayaking/canoeing. The children were either filthy or very wet… the biggest challenge was getting some of them to shower properly!

The evening was spent singing round a campfire and shelter building in the woods. Marshmallows were toasted and reflections were shared on the wonderful experiences had this week.

Just want to say thank you to all the staff who took their time to make this trip happen for the children. It was an amazing adventure for them, so thank you all.

To all the staff from MFJS & CRS Adventures, that made this fantastic memorable week possible – Thank you!
The children were given great opportunities and have come away with memories to cherish forever. Rose has loved the week she’s just had, stating she had an “amazing” time (we knew she would because her older brother still talks about his trip, 3 years on). Thank you Mrs Hilier, Mrs Prior, Mrs Sheldon & Mrs Oxby, for giving up your time and many thanks to Mrs Ketley too, for sharing all the diary entries/photos each night – always appreciated by the parents wondering about them back home. THANK YOU ALL x
