We held 2 days of Art Activity last week. This was based on a theme of recognising that it is 50 years since the first man walked on the moon. Some of us can of course remember this historical event! There has been some wonderful work produced across the school, including Y4 making a life size ‘Neil Armstrong’. The children produced some wonderful artwork which has enabled them to demonstrate skills that are not always evident in the classroom, and there has been a lot of creativity in poetry written, with an ‘outer space’ context. My thanks goes to all the staff who came up with inspiring ideas to focus on ‘space, the final frontier’. You are all welcome to come in and see the work, after school on Tuesday 11 June from 3.30 until 4.30pm.
