It’s Christmas ……… eventually

The start of this term saw us perform our Christmas Production which we had to postpone before Christmas, due to our broken boiler. It was always our intention to still perform the show after all the hard work pupils and staff had put into the show. On returning after the Christmas break, staff were concerned that the children may have forgotten the words to the songs or forgotten the lines they had to say and forgotten the actions they performed. However, we need not have worried, after a morning dress rehearsal the children stepped up and performed amazingly over the 3 shows we put on. Each class performed their own ‘Christmas Chart Hit’ and helped remind us all of the Christmas Story. The show ended with a grand finale involving all the school together and singing and getting the audiences to clap along. My thanks go to all the staff for their hard work in making the production happen and to the pupils of course for performing so magnificently and making you the parents and myself extremely proud of all of them.

I must also thank you the parents and families for being so understanding of me having to postpone the show before Christmas. Judging by the comments made to me, you thoroughly enjoyed the show.
