On Monday 3 February, Year 4 visited the National Gallery in London. This was a part of the writing collaboration project our Y4 pupils are doing with Y4 pupils from Cedar Park and Widmer End.
The trip was enjoyed by all and Manor Farm pupils were praised by their guide for their wonderful behaviour and attitude. I was delighted to hear about this, especially after I had done on assembly on ‘expectations’ we have as a school ,for all pupils to do their best and and respect other people at school and out in the wider world. Having been on many trips to museums and galleries during my teaching career, I know that behaviour can be questionable, hence my delight to hear from someone who works at the gallery and will come across many schools, that Year 4 were so good. Well done, yet again pupils from the school have met the expectations we have. Very proud of each and everyone of them.
