Remote Learning – Week 1

2021 hasn’t quite started as we’d hoped, has it?

Our staff have been absolutely amazing this week! On Monday, after spending a whole day planning to open to pupils, they had to quickly switch to creating remote learning and key worker provisions with just a few hours’ notice. That’s no small feat! A huge well done to them, and a thank you to parents for working with us and being patient.

Pupils who are coming into school are engaging with the Google Classroom set by their teachers. We have 2 bubbles in schools with staff on a rota to support these. Every day the children have a PE session, as physical activity is so important. Please remember to wear a mask for drop off/pick up.

Staff are continually meeting together to discuss ways to improve the online learning experience we can provide for every pupil. It is going to take time for us to implement these changes, so do bear with us.

And finally, don’t forget morning registration via Google Classroom every day – Year 5 and Year 6 at 8:45, Year 3 and Year 4 at 9:15.
As we continue to work together and support each other, our children can still flourish and thrive.

Stay safe.
