What wonderful weather for the first week back to school! All this beautiful sunshine really lifts the mood, and the children have had great fun playing outside in the (slightly) warmer conditions.
It’s been so busy that this week has flown by, but we’ve managed to capture a few pictures to give you a snapshot of life in school….
Year 3A have been exploring different exciting settings in Drama 4 Writing ahead of their new model text from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. 3B rose to the challenge of becoming the object in pictures they were shown.
Year 5 had great fun doing their Talk for Writing Hook activity, using action scenes to help develop their writing. The teachers built an obstacle course and played some music for the children to explore and develop words to use in their own writing.
Year 6A have been converting fractions and decimals and percentages in maths and have also completed their repeating patterns based on the designs and style of William Morris. Some excellent pieces of work, I’m sure you’ll agree.
And all the children who have signed up for school meals with our new provider, Dolce, have been treated to some wonderful food this week! It’s very easy to book and view menus via School Grid.
Have a wonderful weekend!
