Egyptian Day!

What an incredibly creative day Year 3 had on Wednesday 26th May! We were so impressed by their wonderful outfits (children and staff!) and just one look at those beaming faces shows that fun was certainly had by all. Activities included:

  • Mummification using tin foil strips of tissue
  • Embossing a golden plaque
  • Painting Egyptian symbols on papyrus
  • Making Feather fans

Phew – they were certainly busy! A huge well done to our wonderful teachers and teaching assistants for creating this fantastic experience for our children. Here’s a few pictures we managed to snap in amongst the busyness:
