Happy Friday everyone! I know the weather isn’t exactly something to be happy about, but we do at least have the continued easing of restrictions. No more huddling outside under a blanket and umbrella as a means of socialising is very good news. We do hope you enjoy this first weekend of being able to visit friends and family indoors (in line with government guidelines, of course).
I’ve been collecting photos from teachers over the last two weeks, and now have plenty to share with you. We love seeing the enthusiasm in our children as they get stuck in with their creative activities – it’s the perfect way for them to freely express themselves without worrying about ‘getting it wrong’. We do hope you enjoy seeing some of the fantastic work that they have produced.
5A and 5B have been looking at the work of Kenyan artist Magdalene Odundo. Inspired by her style, the children explored free-flowing sketches of shape and form, using long sweeping arm movement.
6A and 6B continue to construct their steady hand games as part of DT. Some are now tackling the wire and circuit components!
And lastly, photography club attendees have been working hard and producing some incredible work. Well done, photography club!
Have a wonderful weekend!
