Thank you for visiting our website and a warm welcome to Manor Farm Community Junior School.
We are proud of our friendly community where development of character as well as intellect is a vital part of the Manor Farm philosophy and a very wide range of extra-curricular activities supports our aspirations for high academic standards in the classroom. Children are encouraged to live as responsible and caring individuals and also to respect the lives and opinions of others. The school community of children, staff, parents, governors and the local community strive to work closely together, with the aim of providing the highest possible standard of all round education for all our children.
We hope that you enjoy looking at the website and find it a good source of information about the school. Please do not hesitate to contact Mr Sierant if you would like further information about the school or download a copy of our Prospectus here.
OUR SCHOOL ETHOS
Our school values effort and achievement; knowledge gives us confidence and the ability to think with independence.
Our school allows us to excel in all areas; experiences broaden our horizons and give us the opportunity to be the best we can be.
We nurture a true sense of community; we know how to behave and relate to others with kindness and respect.
We are proud of our school AND understand we are part of the wider world;
We “love school, love learning” and are ready for the future.
Manor Farm Community Junior School is dedicated to ensuring all of our pupils achieve their full potential and leave this school prepared for the demands of society in their future. We have a clear set of aims which form the foundation of our work, developed in consultation with staff, governors, parents, pupils and members of the community:
- To PROVIDE a broad, balanced, high quality curriculum to every child, in a stimulating environment that they can enjoy.
- To PREPARE every child for becoming responsible and caring members of society.
- To ENABLE all pupils to achieve their full potential through high quality, effective teaching.
Our school motto “Love School. Love Learning.” describes how we want our pupils to feel as a result of our dedication to these aims. It was written by a Year 6 pupil during our last ‘Have Your Say Day’ and we are VERY proud of it.
